| Reverse description | Central denomination numeral '10' in large Latin digits occupies the field, flanked on either side by the Arabic equivalent '١٠' and the Arabic word 'قروش' (Qirsh). The word 'PIASTRES' is inscribed in Latin below the numeral. The Arabic legend 'السلطانة المصرية' (Egyptian Sultanate) arches across the upper field. The whole is framed by an open wreath of laurel branches tied at the base with a ribbon bow, with the Gregorian year 1917 and the Hijri year ١٣٣٥ appearing in the exergue below the wreath. A beaded border surrounds the design. |
