Reverse description The upper portion of the reverse field bears the Arabic legend 'السلطنة المصرية' (Sultanate of Egypt) rendered in large, elegant naskh-style calligraphy. A decorative foliate branch divides the upper inscription from the central denomination area, where the numeral '10' in Western Arabic and '١٠' in Eastern Arabic numerals appear flanking a central vertical vine ornament, with 'PIASTRES' inscribed in Latin letters below the Western numeral and 'غروش' in Arabic script below the Eastern numeral. At the base, the dual dating '1920' in Western numerals and '١٣٣٨' in Eastern Arabic numerals are separated by a small ornamental device, all enclosed within a beaded border.
