| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field dominated by the elaborate calligraphic tughra of Ottoman Sultan Mahmud II, rendered in high relief with characteristic elongated vertical shafts, interlocking loops, and flowing horizontal base strokes. The tughra fills the upper and central portion of the flan. Below the tughra, in the lower field, appears the Arabic denomination inscription indicating 10 Qirsh. The design is contained within a plain border, with no additional ornamentation in the field. |
