The legend 'الجمهورية العربية المتحدة' (United Arab Republic) curves along the upper periphery in Arabic naskh script. An ornamental arabesque cartouche decorates the lower field, and a finely toothed border runs around the entire circumference. |

| Opis rewersu | A panoramic scene depicting the diversion of the Nile River during construction of the Aswan High Dam fills the central field: the dam structure appears at left with excavation machinery and a construction crane at right, all set against a rising sun with radiating rays above the river basin. The date '١٥ مايو ١٩٦٤' (15 May 1964) is inscribed along the upper periphery, while the commemorative Arabic legend 'تذكار تحويل مجرى النيل' (Commemoration of the Diversion of the Nile) curves along the lower border. The design is rendered in fine relief against a smooth field, enclosed by a toothed milled border. |
