| Reverse description | Three-line Arabic legend occupying the central field within a full wreath of leafy olive branches tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The uppermost line bears the regnal year numeral (٨), the middle lines read 'ضرب في' (struck in) and 'ام درمان' (Omdurman), and the Hijri date ١٣١٠ appears at the base. A five-petalled rosette is positioned above the wreath at the apex. The entire design is surrounded by a toothed or beaded inner border consistent with Mahdist Sudanese minting style. |
