Obverse description Central field dominated by the elaborate calligraphic tughra of Sultan Abdulaziz, rendered in the Ottoman imperial style with characteristic looping sülüs script, vertical shafts, and sweeping horizontal strokes. The denomination numeral '١٠' (10) and the abbreviation for Qirsh appear in Arabic script below the tughra in the lower field.
