Reverse description The entire field is occupied by a multi-line commemorative inscription in elegant Nastaliq script, recording the occasion of the fiftieth year of the shah's reign. The text is enclosed within a large, finely detailed wreath of oak or laurel branches tied at the base with a ribbon. At the apex of the wreath, a small imperial Qajar crown surmounts the composition. The AH date 1313 appears at the foot of the inscription, within the lower part of the wreath. A beaded border runs along the inner edge of the milled rim.
