备注	Northern Bank Limited occupies an unusual position in the British Isles — one of only a handful of commercial banks still legally entitled to issue its own sterling-denominated notes for circulation in Northern Ireland. That right, inherited through the banking consolidation that shaped the province's financial structure across the twentieth century, meant the bank continued printing its own currency even after it was acquired by Danske Bank in 2005 and rebranded accordingly in 2012. This series falls entirely within the Danske ownership period, though the Northern Bank name was retained on the notes throughout. The rebrand to Danske Bank notes ended this issue's production run.
