| Obverse description | The upper left carries the Kent coat of arms vignette with the motto INVICTA beneath, rendered in fine intaglio engraving. The bank title 'Faversham Bank' is set in large ornate copperplate script across the top, flanked by the serial number at left and the denomination cypher '£10' at right. The promise-to-pay text, payee details, place, date, and authorising signatures occupy the body of the note in flowing letterpress script, with a bold letterpress underprint panel reading 'Ten Pounds' at the lower left. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is dominated by a large central green guilloche underprint of irregular cloud-like form, within which concentric elliptical bands surround a central oval cartouche bearing the word 'TEN' in white relief. The surrounding band carries the legislative inscription referencing Act 9, Geo. IV, Cap. 23. A violet bank endorsement stamp reading 'LONDON & PROVINCIAL BANK LIMITED, ROCHESTER' is applied diagonally across the green underprint, alongside a circular Faversham Bank cancellation stamp at upper right. |
