Reverse description The reverse presents a neoclassical allegorical composition after the original design by William Wyon, depicting three standing female figures personifying Britannia, Hibernia, and Scotia, the patron figures of England, Ireland, and Scotland respectively. Each figure bears her characteristic national emblem, arranged in harmonious grouping. The design draws directly from Wyon's celebrated 1817 pattern coinage, rendered here with exceptional detail befitting the piedfort format. A Latin motto arcs above the figures in the upper field.
