| Reverse description | Central design features a coiled rope torque, an Iron Age neck ornament dated to circa 1500 BC, rendered in bold relief and occupying the majority of the coin's field. The legend BAILIWICK OF JERSEY arcs across the upper portion of the coin, while TEN POUNDS is inscribed in large letters across the lower field. A small inscription TORQUE CIRCA 1500 BC appears beneath the central motif. The design, engraved by Norman Sillman, references Jersey's rich archaeological heritage. |
