| Obverse lettering | Government of St. Helena £10 Promise to pay bearer on demand the sum of TEN POUNDS £10 CURRENCY COMMISSIONERS |
| Reverse description | The arms of the East India Company — a quartered shield supported by two lions rampant, flanked by flagstaffs bearing the Company ensign and surmounted by a lion passant guardant — occupy the left-centre of the design, rendered in fine intaglio engraving on a pale guilloche ground. To the right, the colonial seal of Saint Helena, enclosed in an ornate cartouche and displaying a sailing ship, is set against a boldly guilloche-patterned ribbon motif that sweeps across the right half of the note. The date 2012 appears at lower right, with the denomination £10 at lower left. |
