| Reverse description | The central vignette reproduces in intaglio the sculptural pediment of Belfast City Hall, with allegorical figures in high relief set within the classical triangular tympanum. To the upper right, a finely engraved view of the City Hall dome is visible, while architectural line drawings and geometric guilloche patterns in green, orange, and blue form the multicolour underprint across the entire field. The Danske Bank logotype appears in its blue panel at upper centre, flanked by the denomination numerals '10' at lower left and right. |

Northern Bank rebranded to Danske Bank in 2012 following its acquisition by the Danish banking group, making this 2013 issue one of the earliest under that trading name for Northern Ireland. The bank has a long history of producing its own sterling-denominated notes under the provisions allowing certain Northern Irish banks to issue private banknotes — a right dating to well before the Bank Charter Act of 1844, which explicitly preserved these issuing privileges.
The print date of 30 April 1945 is clearly a data entry error in the catalog record and should be corrected before publication.
