Opmerkingen

Bank of Scotland's P#120 series ran across an unusually long span of signature combinations — six pairings over eleven years, tracking the bank's senior personnel changes through a period that included its 2001 merger talks with Halifax, which ultimately produced HBOS in 2006. The final date of issue, 1 January 2006, coincides almost exactly with the full absorption of Bank of Scotland into the HBOS structure, making the Stevenson & Mathew signature the last under the old operational identity.

The 2003 and 2004 dates both carry a single Mitchell signature, reflecting an interim period between Governors rather than a printing anomaly.
