Pick 59 spans a notably long run for a single type — eight years across two different printers, with De La Rue and Oberthur Fiduciaire both supplying notes within the same series. The two outputs are distinguishable by subtle differences in ink saturation and registration quality, though both carry the same security specification. Cyprus adopted the euro on 1 January 2008, making this the last 10 Pound type ever issued by the Central Bank; unspent notes were demonetized and exchanged at a fixed rate of 0.585274 pounds per euro.
