| Obverse description | Intaglio vignette of a classical marble bust, traditionally identified as Artemis, at left, set against a fine guilloche underprint in green and blue tones; the coat of arms of Cyprus appears at upper centre alongside bilingual bank title in Greek (ΚΕΝΤΡΙΚΗ ΤΡΑΠΕΖΑ ΤΗΣ ΚΥΠΡΟΥ) and Turkish (KIBRIS MERKEZ BANKASI). Denomination in Greek and Turkish, issuing date, and Governor's signature are printed at centre right, with the sterling pound numeral 10 in ornate script at lower right. |

| Reverse description | The watermark window appears at far left, while the central and right portions of the note carry a richly detailed vignette of indigenous Cypriot fauna and flora: a Cyprus warbler, a Cyprus mouflon, a green turtle, and a Paphos Blue butterfly are arranged among cyclamens and tulips, rendered in multicolour intaglio and letterpress against a light guilloche background. |

Pick 59 spans a notably long run for a single type — eight years across two different printers, with De La Rue and Oberthur Fiduciaire both supplying notes within the same series. The two outputs are distinguishable by subtle differences in ink saturation and registration quality, though both carry the same security specification. Cyprus adopted the euro on 1 January 2008, making this the last 10 Pound type ever issued by the Central Bank; unspent notes were demonetized and exchanged at a fixed rate of 0.585274 pounds per euro.
