背面描述 An intaglio portrait of the diorite statue of Pharaoh Khafra (4th Dynasty, c. 2570 BCE) dominates the right half of the note in profile facing left, with the Giza pyramids rendered in the lower right corner. The left panel carries a multicolour vignette of geese and hieroglyphic friezes set against a radiating sunburst underprint, with denomination numerals in oval cartouches at lower left and upper right.

备注

Pick 51 spans an unusually long production window — over two decades — during which Egypt's monetary policy lurched between fixed exchange controls, IMF-pressured liberalization, and the managed float introduced in the 1990s. A note that entered circulation under Sadat was still being issued under Mubarak. The series outlasted the inflationary crises of the 1980s, when the parallel market rate diverged sharply from the official rate, meaning this denomination carried very different real-world purchasing power depending on which end of that window a given note was printed.

The watermark security remained essentially unchanged throughout — a notable vulnerability for a run this long.
