Description de l’avers	Central vignette of a large colonial-style building with palm trees to its right, set against a light background within a fine guilloche border. Arabic inscriptions appear above and below the central vignette, with the bank title in Arabic at top and the denomination in Arabic script at centre-bottom. Serial number and signature lines appear at lower left, with the date in Arabic at lower right; denomination numerals "10" appear in the upper-left and lower-left corners within ornamental frames.

A large ornate rosette watermark window occupies the left portion of the note. The denomination "TEN SUDANESE POUNDS" is lettered in serif capitals at the bottom centre, with "BANK OF SUDAN" across the top panel and numeral "10" repeated in the corner ornaments.
