Opmerkingen

The Government of Fiji's £10 notes of 1934–35 predate the establishment of the Currency Board, which wouldn't replace direct government issue until 1937. Bradbury Wilkinson printed the series in London — a common arrangement for British colonial territories throughout the interwar period — but the multiple signature combinations across just fourteen months suggest considerable administrative turnover within the colony's treasury apparatus. Three distinct signatories appear in varying configurations across four dated issues, with Boyd the only constant throughout the run.

High-denomination colonial notes of this period rarely saw heavy circulation; £10 was a substantial sum in 1930s Fiji.
