Opmerkingen	The Union Bank of Australia was absorbed into the ANZ group in 1951, but by 1910 it was still one of the dominant private trading banks issuing its own notes across the Australian colonies-turned-federation. Private bank issuance continued legally in Australia until the Commonwealth Bank Act of 1910 effectively began dismantling that system — making notes from this period among the last examples of competitive private currency issue in Australian history.
