Obverse description The nickel-brass centre features a three-quarter facing effigy of General Miguel Malvar wearing a wide-brimmed military hat adorned with a star, rendered in high relief against a densely incuse background field filled with repeated micro-text legends reading 'HENERAL MIGUEL MALVAR 150 TAON'. The denomination '10 PISO' appears in bold numerals to the left of the portrait within the centre. Along the left rim of the copper-nickel ring, the legend 'REPUBLIKA NG PILIPINAS' is inscribed vertically. Below the portrait, a facsimile signature reading 'Miguel' in script and the name 'HENERAL MALVAR' in capital letters are incused across the lower field.

Reverse description The nickel-brass centre depicts a full-length heroic statue of General Miguel Malvar mounted on a pedestal, holding a sword and posed in a commanding stance, rendered in outline relief. To the upper right of the central field, the circular seal of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas featuring a stylised eagle is prominently displayed. The large numeral '150' and the word 'Taon' appear in bold relief to the right of the figure, with the commemorative dates '1865' and '2015' inscribed below in the field. The name 'MALVAR' is incused in capital letters along the lower left of the copper-nickel ring.
