| Obverse description | The nickel-brass centre features a three-quarter facing effigy of General Miguel Malvar wearing a wide-brimmed military hat adorned with a star, rendered in high relief against a densely incuse background field filled with repeated micro-text legends reading 'HENERAL MIGUEL MALVAR 150 TAON'. The denomination '10 PISO' appears in bold numerals to the left of the portrait within the centre. Along the left rim of the copper-nickel ring, the legend 'REPUBLIKA NG PILIPINAS' is inscribed vertically.
