At upper centre, the bank title LA BANQUE NATIONALE is set within an elaborate scrollwork border, flanked by the numeral 10 in each corner. A central vignette to the left portrays a military or allegorical figure in a landscape scene, while an oval portrait vignette to the right bears the bust of a gentleman in formal attire.
