Obverse description The obverse is printed in violet and orange tones with an ornate guilloche border framing the entire note. At upper centre, the Arabic inscription of the issuing authority appears within a decorative cartouche, flanked by arabesque scroll work, while a vignette of the Great Sphinx of Giza and the Pyramids of Giza occupies the right field. A rosette guilloche underprint occupies the central panel, with a signature panel on the left bearing the Minister of Finance's Arabic facsimile signature and the serial number printed in two positions.

Reverse description The reverse is rendered in violet with a central large numeral '10' set against a fine guilloche underprint in light blue.
