| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in tones of red, black, and pink, with a central engraved vignette of the Hoch-Kreuz shrine near Schweich — a stone baldachin chapel set among trees, built in 1774. The denomination numeral '10' appears in white on red octagonal lozenges at both left and right, flanking the central scene within an ornate Art Nouveau-style border of scrollwork and dot guilloche. A scrolled cartouche at the base carries the identifying inscription in Fraktur script. |
