| Obverse description | Plain iron field featuring the issuer's name arranged in three lines across the centre of the coin: HAUPT- above WERKSTATT, with a central circular hole pierced through the lower field. The legend EISENBAHN arcs along the upper periphery and RATIBOR along the lower periphery, all in raised Latin capital letters. The entire design is framed by a continuous inner border of raised beads running just inside the coin's rim, giving the piece a utilitarian, no-frills appearance consistent with wartime Notgeld emergency coinage. |
