| Reverse description | Central field bears the large numeral '10' in bold relief, set within a lozenge-shaped cartouche formed by incuse lines. The word 'WERT' arcs across the upper field and 'PFENNIG' across the lower field, together forming the denomination legend 'WERT 10 PFENNIG'. Small scroll ornaments flank the central cartouche on either side. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner border and a plain raised rim, consistent with the plain, functional aesthetic of German emergency coinage of the World War I era. |
