| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents the large bold numeral '10' occupying the majority of the central field, rendered in raised block figures with a ribbed or lined internal texture on each digit. The field is otherwise plain and unadorned, with no additional legend or inscription. A fine toothed border ring frames the design at the rim, consistent with the obverse treatment. The stark, utilitarian design is typical of emergency coinage (Kriegsgeld/Notgeld) produced by private industrial firms during the First World War to alleviate the acute shortage of small-denomination coinage in circulation. |
