| Obverse description | The obverse features a plain field with the large numeral '10' prominently centered, serving as the denomination. A circular legend reading 'C. LORENZ AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT' arcs around the upper portion of the coin, while the word 'KANTINE' appears along the lower arc, separated by small star or asterisk ornaments. The entire design is contained within a finely executed pearl or bead rim that runs along the inner edge of the coin. |

| Additional information |
C. Lorenz AG was a major Berlin electronics and telecommunications firm — later absorbed into ITT — that issued canteen tokens to manage internal purchasing during the tight rationing and currency disruptions of the World War II period. Zinc was the wartime substitute for practically every non-ferrous metal diverted to armaments production, which dates this piece as firmly as any archive record could.
