| Obverse description | The face is printed in green on white paper, with a fine guilloche underprint covering the entire surface. A central cloud-shaped vignette in deeper green carries the denomination 'Zehn Pfennig' in Gothic blackletter script, flanked on each side by the numeral '10'. The issuer's title 'Gutschein der Gemeinde Bernsbach' runs in bold Gothic lettering across the upper portion, while below the vignette appear the validity clause, the date of issue 'Bernsbach, den 4.
