| Obverse description | The obverse features the municipal coat of arms of Zell im Wiesental centrally positioned in the field, depicting a shield charged with wavy lines in the lower half and a plain upper half, surmounted by an elaborate mantling and crest. The arms are encircled by a continuous circular legend in Latin script, separated from the outer pearl border by a smooth rim. Two small star ornaments flank the legend at the lateral positions. The overall design is rendered in low relief consistent with wartime emergency coinage production. |
