Obverse description Central field features the municipal coat of arms of Tuttlingen — a shield bearing three horizontal rows of stylized antlers or waves, representing the traditional heraldic device of the city — set within a plain raised circle. The legend TUTTLINGEN arcs across the upper periphery, flanked at each side by a small cross ornament, with the date 1917 positioned along the lower periphery. The coin's rim is decorated with a continuous beaded border encircling the entire design.
