| Reverse description | The central field bears the large numeral 10, boldly struck in the middle of the flat field, denoting the face value in Pfennig. The circular legend KLEINGELDERSATZ arcs across the upper portion, meaning small change substitute, while two small six-pointed star ornaments flank the base of the numeral at the lower field. The entire design is contained within a beaded inner border, consistent with the obverse, and the composition and style reflect the austere wartime production typical of German Kriegs- and Notgeld issues of 1918. |
