| Obverse description | Octagonal zinc notgeld piece with a continuous dotted border running along the inner edge of all eight sides. The large numeral '10' dominates the central field, rendered in bold raised relief. Surrounding the numeral, a circular dotted inner border frames the design. The legend 'STADT SUHL - KLEINGELDERSATZ' arcs around the upper and lower periphery in capital Latin letters, denoting the issuing municipality and the emergency small-change substitution purpose.
