The denomination numeral '10' appears in large shield-shaped cartouches at left and right, with the value inscription 'Zehn Pfennig' in Gothic blackletter script across the upper centre. A faint orange underprint vignette is visible at centre. The body of the note carries the bearer text and validity clause in Gothic script, followed by the issuance date 'Aurich, den 1. September 1918', the issuer name 'Spar- und Leihkasse der Stadt Aurich', and two manuscript signatures. The printer's imprint 'Selmar Bayer, Berlin GD. 36' appears below the lower border. |
