| Obverse description | Octagonal iron notgeld token with a continuous dotted border running along all eight sides. The circular legend MAGISTRAT SENSBURG arcs around the periphery in bold Latin capitals. At the center, the municipal arms of Sensburg are depicted within an ornate baroque cartouche: a crowned elk or stag passant above the date 1348 and the inscription ANNO, flanked by decorative scrollwork and foliate flourishes. Three small rosette or star ornaments are placed at the base of the design, evenly spaced within the lower field. |
