| Beschrijving keerzijde | A beaded outer rim borders a circular legend reading KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE, identifying the piece as a small-change substitute token. Within an inner beaded circle, the bold numeral '10' dominates the central field, denoting the denomination of ten Pfennig. Three decorative stars are evenly spaced along the lower portion of the inner legend, serving as separators between the inscription elements. |

Schwerin an der Warthe — today Skwierzyna, in western Poland — issued emergency iron coinage during World War I as the German imperial small-change system collapsed under wartime metal requisitioning. These municipal Notgeld pieces were authorized locally, not by the Reichsbank, which explains the wide variation in composition and execution across provincial issues from the Posen region. Iron was the fallback once copper and nickel were diverted to shell casings.
