| Obverse description | Octagonal zinc notgeld token with a continuous pearl border following the coin's eight-sided periphery. A beaded inner circle frames the central field, within which the large numeral '10' is prominently raised in bold relief. The circular legend in the outer annulus reads 'WÄCHTERSBACHER STEINGUTFABRIK G.M.B.H.' at the top and 'SCHLIERBACH BEI WÄCHTERSBACH' at the bottom, separated by two five-pointed stars. The overall design is plain and functional, consistent with wartime emergency coinage production. |

| Additional information |
Wächtersbacher Steingutfabrik, a ceramics manufacturer in Schlierbach, issued zinc notgeld tokens during the early 1920s when Germany's small-denomination coinage had effectively vanished from circulation — hoarded, melted, or simply outpaced by inflation. Factory-issued pieces like this one served workers who needed change for canteen purchases or internal wage settlements, never intended to travel far beyond the plant gates.
