| Obverse description | The municipal coat of arms of Ratibor occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield bearing a lion passant and a wheel, surmounted by a crested helm with elaborate mantling and scrollwork. The full achievement of arms is rendered in high relief with fine heraldic detail. The curved legend 'STADT- RATIBOR' arcs along the lower portion of the field, flanking the shield on either side, in bold Latin capitals. |
