| Obverse description | Central field occupied by the heraldic shield of Kreis Prüm, depicting the Agnus Dei (Lamb of God) passant with nimbus and a banner, rendered in a medieval ecclesiastical style. The district name KREIS PRÜM arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin capitals, flanked at either side of the shield by a six-pointed rosette or star ornament in the field. The overall composition is bold and unadorned, consistent with the utilitarian character of German Notgeld coinage of the early Weimar period. |
