A circular legend reading MAINWERKE G.m.b.H. around the upper arc and OFFENBACH A.M. around the lower arc runs between the inner beaded border and an outer beaded border, interrupted by two five-pointed stars serving as stops. The overall design is strictly typographic, characteristic of German notgeld emergency coinage of the early Weimar period. |
