| Obverse description | Octagonal zinc notgeld token with a plain raised border enclosing a continuous inner beaded circle. The large numeral '10' dominates the central field. The circular legend 'GEBR. LAURENZ, OCHTRUP' runs around the periphery between the outer border and the inner beaded ring, with two five-pointed stars serving as separators at the base of the legend. The overall design is utilitarian in character, typical of German wartime and post-war small-change emergency coinage (Kleingeldersatzmarken). |
