| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse is struck from the same dies as the obverse but oriented in medal alignment, presenting an incuse mirror image of the obverse design. The heraldic shield of Oberlahnstein with three wagon wheels is visible in negative relief at center, surrounded by the reversed legend VOLKSBANK OBERLAHNSTEIN and NOTGELD, with the date 1917 and denomination WERT 10 PFG rendered in incuse. This characteristic incuse reverse is consistent with the production technique used for this series of iron Notgeld tokens. |
