| Obverse description | Octagonal zinc notgeld token with a plain outer rim enclosing a continuous pearl border, within which a second inner beaded circle frames the large numeral '10' prominently displayed in the central field. The circular legend between the two beaded borders reads 'RUD. CHILLINGWORTH A.G.' at the top and 'NÜRNBERG' at the bottom, each separated by a five-pointed star. The overall design is utilitarian and unadorned, consistent with emergency small-change token coinage of the World War I and immediate post-war period. |
