Obverse description Octagonal zinc notgeld token with the issuer's name arranged in a circular legend around the periphery of the field, reading KUNSTMÜHLE above and NEUMARKT below, separated by two five-pointed stars at either side. The central field bears the proprietor's name CARL in raised lettering above a horizontal rule, with ZINN in bold raised lettering below, followed by a second decorative rule and a small ornament beneath. The design is entirely typographic in character, with no pictorial elements, consistent with utilitarian emergency coinage of the World War I era.

Reverse description The reverse is dominated by the large, bold numeral '10' centered in the field, occupying nearly the full diameter of the octagonal flan. A continuous pearl or bead rim borders the inner edge of all eight sides, providing a neat decorative frame. The field is otherwise entirely plain, presenting the denomination in a stark and utilitarian manner appropriate to emergency Notgeld coinage.
