A secondary inner beaded circle frames the central field, within which the large numeral '10' is prominently struck in raised relief. The circular legend 'GEMEINDE MERLENBACH' runs along the upper portion of the field between the two beaded borders. Three small ornamental devices — a floral rosette flanked by two small stars — appear in the lower portion of the field between the inner beaded circle and the outer beaded border. |
