| 背面描述 | The denomination numeral '10' is prominently displayed in large bold characters at the center of the field, again featuring the characteristic diagonal slash through the '1'. The circular legend 'KRIEGSGELD 1918' arcs across the upper portion, identifying this token as wartime emergency money ('Kriegsgeld') dated 1918. The word 'PFENNIG' appears along the lower arc, and two six-pointed stars flank the lower legend as decorative separators, mirroring the obverse composition. |

Loslau — today Wodzisław Śląski in southwestern Poland — issued this iron notgeld in 1918 as the German war economy had stripped copper and zinc coinage out of circulation entirely. Municipal authorities across Silesia were effectively left to provision their own small change, iron being one of the few metals the military-industrial apparatus hadn't fully commandeered for shell casings and wire.
