| Obverse description | A fine pearl border runs along the inner edge of the coin. The circular legend, reading STADT · LISSA (POSEN) ·, is arranged around the periphery of the field in Latin capitals, separated by raised dot stops. The denomination numeral 10 is prominently displayed in large serif figures at the centre of the field, occupying most of the available space. The overall design is plain and utilitarian, characteristic of German Notgeld emergency coinage of the World War I era. |
