Reverse description The reverse is structurally identical to the obverse, displaying the same layout in medal alignment. The circular legend VORSCHUSSVEREIN LAUENBURG (ELBE) encircles the plain field, with WERT: positioned above the central circular perforation and the numeral 10 below it. The date 1917 appears at the base of the peripheral legend, again separated by two star ornaments. The overall design is utilitarian and typographic, consistent with wartime Notgeld emergency coinage practice.
