| Opmerkingen |
Körlin an der Persante was a small Pomeranian market town with no banking infrastructure capable of managing the coin shortage that gripped Germany in 1920. The Magistrat's decision to issue notgeld through Selmar Bayer — a Berlin printer with a solid run of municipal emergency note contracts in this period — was entirely typical of how hundreds of comparable towns handled the crisis. Bayer operated out of Berlin SO 36, a postal district that housed numerous small commercial printers who pivoted heavily to notgeld work between 1919 and 1922.
The Gra#K38.1b designation indicates a variant within the Körlin series, likely a color or paper stock distinction from an earlier impression.
