Obverse description A large imperial crown occupies the central field, rendered in fine relief with elaborate scrollwork, floral rosettes along the band, and a cross pattée surmounting the orb at the apex. The crown's base features a beaded lower rim and radiating reeded detailing, conveying heraldic authority. The entire design is enclosed within a continuous pearl border running near the coin's edge, with the field left otherwise unadorned.

Additional information

Henriettenhütte was an ironworks in Hattingen, Westphalia, and like many German industrial operations during the First World War and its aftermath, it issued its own notgeld tokens to compensate for the acute shortage of small state coinage. Striking a 10 Pfennig piece in iron — the same material the plant processed — was as practical as it was pointed. These works tokens circulated exclusively among employees, redeemable at the company store.
